Sejong General Hospital and Gwangmyeong City in Korea joined 'Gift of Lives' project, which is public-private partnership. Liaocheng City in Shāndōng Shěng, China and Gwangmyeong City in Korea set up a sisterhood relationship a few years ago. Since 2009, Gwangmyeong City has invited 36 children who suffered from congenital heart diseases and has let them gone through heart surgeries for free. In 2015, 4 children from China and their parents arrived in Korea in late October with sponsors' help. (GoodPeople, Lotte Duty Free, Save the Children, AR Korea) They had successful hear surgeries and medical care at Sejong General Hospital and left Korea on 6th November. Choon-Pyo Lee, a deputy mayor of Gwangmyeong City was happy about the children's big happy smiles and wished them well.
