
National Cancer Center in Korea and in Uganda signed an MoU to enhance mutual cooperation in the area of cancer diagnosis and management. Although Uganda National Cancer Center consists of 200 sickbed and is equipped with image facilities including X-ray and ultrasonic waves, medical specialists lack to conduct the central organization of oncology in East Africa. National Cancer Center, Korea agreed to help train doctors and improve the management system of cancer in Uganda with Korea Foundation for International Healthcare and Graduate School of Cancer Science and Policy.
