Medical Tourism Field Investigation With Life Center Chaum

The Mayor of Seoul City, Park Won-soon, had a medical tourism field investigation at Chaum Clinic, located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, in October. He listened to the workers' words attentively. This visit was one of his job creation plans. At this guided tour, Mayor Park was with Chaum clinic's president Dong-Mo Lee and Professor Beom-Soo Han from Kyonggi University. They also talked with Chinese patients about their ideas about Korean medical tours. After the research, they took part in a meeting to discuss improvement of medical tourism with clinics, institutes, societies, agencies, and coordinators. Seoul City is going to cooperate with up to 300 clinics by 2018 in order to attract 40 million medical travelers.
