Wellton Bone & Joint Hospital Trained Surgeons from The Philippine Orthopedic Center

On 11th February 2016, Wellton Bone & Joint Hospital (Hospital Director Sang-Ho Song) had a completion ceremony for a group of Philippine surgeons from The Philippine Orthopedic Center, who finished medical training course on artificial joint surgery at Wellton Bone & Joint Hospital. This course has begun since Wellton Hospital and The Philippine Orthopedic Center established the cooperation MOU in 2012. Also, since last August, Yrelle John Herrera Teodosia from the Philippines, M.D. has been trained on 'Muscle-tendon Preservation Minimal Incision Surgery', which is the most popular skill at the Wellton Bone & Joint Hospital. Dr. John said, 'I was greatly impressed by Wellton Hospital's minimal incision surgery when it comes to hip or knee replacement surgery. I will do my best to perform this amazing surgery for the patients in the Philippines.' Wellton Bone & Joint Hospital has executing series of medical-exchange programs with the Philippines.
