MizMedi Hospital Hosts Familiarization Tour to Attract International Patients

MizMedi Hospital, under the Sungsam Medical Foundation and led by Director Park Yong-soo, recently conducted two familiarization tours to attract international patients.

The tours involved families from Camp Humphreys, a U.S. military base in Pyeongtaek, MizMedi Hospital, and U-MEDI employees.

On the 20th, in collaboration with U-MEDI, domestic partner of Cigna - the global market leader in expatriate insurance - MizMedi Hospital invited U.S. military families living at Camp Humphreys to promote the hospital’s efforts in attracting foreign patients. As such, on the 23rd, the American Women's Club (AWC) was hosted in order to showcase the hospital's facilities.

During the tours, MizMedi Hospital introduced its dedicated facilities and medical systems for foreign patients as well as its convenient medical cost and insurance processing through Cigna's direct billing network. The hospital also provided expert lectures on health and medical knowledge and held Q&A sessions about hospital services, catering to the real needs of foreign patients when they visit.

MizMedi Hospital, designated for the fifth consecutive time as a specialized obstetrics and gynecology hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, offers specialized services in obstetrics, gynecology, and infertility. Due to the high number of international patients seeking maternity, infertility, and gynecological surgeries, MizMedi has been operating a separate International Clinic since 2019.

The hospital provides one-stop services for patients from Russia, China, and Mongolia through dedicated coordinators, facilitating everything from appointments to medical consultations and tests. Additionally, private consultation rooms ensure a comfortable experience for international patients, contributing to the hospital's growing popularity among such visitors.
