Wonkwang University Hospital has produced fruit in Mongolia after their effort on globalization of Korean medical industry. Dr. Do-Young Choi, director of Wonkwang University Hospital and his team visited Mongolia for 5 days and built the partnership stronger with Mongolian government officials and partnered hospitals. While the team stayed in Mongolia, they held a dinner party for the 80 numbers of Mongolian doctors who have finished a medical training in WKUH. Since it started a number of medical exchange projects supported by Korean and Mongolian governments, Wonkwang University Hospital produced outstanding workforce for Mongolia; 90 doctors, 15 nurses, and 1 medical technician, 106 in total. What made this visit special was that local broadcasts like TV9 and UBS gave prominent coverage on Dr. Choi’s team and their performance.
