On 18th February, the Vice Health Minister of Uzbekistan, Laziz Tuychiev had a guided tour in Ewha Womans University Medical Center, Ewha Womans University Cancer Center For Women, and Lady Wards. They observed medical equipment and staff's work. As Tashkent, Uzbekistan plans to build a hospital for women, children and general surgery in the near future, the visitors focused on discussing cooperative plans for various issues and learning Ewha University Hospital's medical education system and clinical treatment system. The Vice Health Minister of Uzbekistan, Laziz Tuychiev said that 'I was impressed by the cutting-edge medical equipment, clean hospital environment, and excellent medical education system of Ewha Womans University Medical Center. I wish that Uzbekistan and Ewha Womans University Medical Center keeps a healthy and continuous relationship to develop the medical & healthcare education in Uzbekistan.' Meanwhile, Ewha Womans University Medical Center has accelerated Uzbekistan medical tourism market. Last year, they visited Shox Medical Center, Tashkent, Uzbekistan and made an MOU for mutual cooperation.
