Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the regional government of Kamchatka and six colleges of medicine concerning a cooperation project.
The main contents of the project are feasibility study about an establishment of a state hospital in Kamchatka and construction of telemedicine, healthcare system (Medical-IT, HIS, EMR, etc.) and an advanced public hospital.
The area of this hospital is 24,000 square meters with 510 medical beds and plans to complete construction in 2020. Under the MOU, Korea will enter into related industries such as construction, info-tech, medicine, pharmaceuticals, medical device and so on.
