The 91st International MISS Course program that 325 specialists from 37 countries around the world had participated in since 2004 has been successfully conducted from February 20, 2017 for a week.
The International MISS Course program is a specialized training course of Wooridul Hospital that focuses on minimally invasive spinal surgery and techniques through systematic education programs. The program consists of lectures, operation observation, and hands-on-workshops with spine models.As the curriculum is divided into two parts: basic course and advanced course, it is providing systematic training courses which is tailored to participants’ needs and their level, including Interventional spine procedure and minimally invasive spinal surgery procedure(MIS surgery).
Six specialists from Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and Israel participated in this 91st MISS Course, which limits the number of participants to six per a training session.
Most of the participants are now working as a spine specialist in their own countries and many of them wants to revisit the hospital. Therefore, Wooridul hospital has subdivided the curriculum so that participants can take part in the training programs again.
