Kyrgyz children with congenital heart disease were invited and treated at Gachon University Gil Medical Center

Gachon University Gil Medical Center invited five Kyrgyz children with complex congenital heart disease as ‘business to invite and treat foreign children with heart disease’ and treated them. The infants who entered the hospital on April 5 had sequentially undergone an operation from June 6 to 18. Lee Geun, president of Gil Medical Center, said “My heart was filled with pride as the infants have got their color back after they were admitted to hospital.” Also, he said, “Since they are healthy with the help of many people, I hope they will grow up to be healthy and talented people who can help others.” According to its mission, “Philanthropy, Service, Patriotism”, the hospital has been inviting foreign children who diagnosed with congenital heart defects every year since 1996 and thus about 400 children have been presented with new life.
