CheongShim International Medical Center, the leader of medical tourism, was selected as a medical institution, participating in the 'Medical Korea Academy' in 2017 organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. It was held for 49 days from May 12 to June 29, 2017 and the hospital conducted training for four Cambodian doctors. The purpose of this training is to enable foreign medical staff to acquire advanced medical knowledge and skills in Korea and to improve their understanding and preference for Korean medical services. This training program was attended by 4 Cambodian doctors (Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal medicine) and the medical staff who volunteered for the overseas medical service annually, performed by CheongShim International Medical Center. The four doctors experienced advanced Korean medical service through education and experience of the whole hospital system, including the HIS system, patient care, surgery, ward care, etc.
