The Robotic Surgery Center comprises 11 medical staff from the department of surgery, urology, otorhinolaryngology, obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, anesthesia and pain medicine with 5 specialized nursing staff including a robot coordinator. The center will provide consulting to select patients unable to undergo a conventional operation and help safer and faster recovery using the latest robotic technology. The latest model of Da Vinci surgery robot Da Vinci Xi provides surgeons with high definition vision with zooming image and 4 small robotic hands to perform precise and efficient surgery that leads to a much better result than conventional surgery. There have been many academic pieces of research and papers around the world verifying the superiority of robotic surgery. Minimal scarring, less stress and pain, shorter hospital stay, reduced risk of complications are notable advantages.
