Samsung Medical Center dispatches medical staff to a virus treatment center of Samsung Yeongdeok Training Institute

Samsung Medical Center has dispatched medical staff to Samsung training institute in Yeoungdeok County which is used as a virus treatment center for those with mild symptoms. Prior to this, Samsung Group offered its training institute in Youngdeok County for a treatment center in a move to help local health authorities securing more hospital beds. The medical staff consists of volunteer physicians, nurses, etc., from Samsung Medical Center Group’s three hospitals (Samsung Medical Center, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, and Samsung Changwon Hospital) who want to provide medical services in light of the outbreak. These medical professionals participated in the joint support group for the virus treatment center. In addition, the medical staff also checked and monitored the self-measured temperatures of patients with minor symptoms, etc., on site as a part of the quarantine activities of the central and local governments, and they will continue to provide medical support until the situation comes to an end by performing two-week work rotations.
