Dr. Hyung-tae Kim, the Director of Yeson Voice Center Invited to numerous prestigious international otorhinolaryngology phonetic associations

Yeson Voice Center is a hospital that has been specializing in phonetics by pursuing researches on voices for approximately 20 years since its opening in 2003. As the results, it successfully developed numerous new surgical and treatment techniques for vocal cord diseases and phonetic plastic surgeries, and published its clinical research performances in many overseas academic journals.

In recognition of such research and treatment performances, he has been invited by numerous international otorhinolaryngology phonetic associations to provide presentations and academic lectures on various themes every year.

As the latest academic association activity, he was invited to participate in the keynote lecture and workshop on voice feminization surgery of the 30 th congress of Union of the European Phoniatricians (UEP) Symposium held from April 27 to April 30, 2023 in Antalya, Turkiye as the chairperson. Moreover, he was invited and participated in the 14th congress of the European Laryngological Society (ELS) Symposium held in the MICO MILANO CONVENTION CENTRE, Milano, Italy from June 21 to June 23, 2023 to lecture and as a panel member for discussions on the given theme.

He is being invited to give talks in such prestigious international symposiums because patients from approximately 50 countries are visiting Yeson Otorhinolaryngology Clinic for surgeries as the effects of 'Vocal folds shortening' and 'Retrodisplacement of anterior commissure' as a specialized voice feminization surgery that the Clinic has developed have been proven and known widely throughout the world.
