Chung-Ang University Health Care System Hyundae Hospital in Namyangju to Establish a 200-Bed General Hospital in Kazakhstan Chung-Ang University Health Care System Hyundae Hospital in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, plans to build a 200-bed general hospital in Almaty, Kazakhstan.Following the opening of the Mongol Hyundae Hospital in June, this marks Hyundae Hospital’s second overseas healthcare project, with the new facility set to open in 2027.As an affiliate hospital of Chung-Ang University Medical Center, Hyundae Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on October 31 in Almaty with the Almaty State Government and SHIN LINE GROUP, outlining the project.Under the agreement, Hyundae Hospital will establish operational plans, implement advanced medical equipment, and introduce cutting-edge medical systems locally. SHIN LINE GROUP will oversee securing the site, construction, and licensing, while the Almaty government will provide administrative and public infrastructure support.Hospital Director Kim Boo-seop also met with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the chairman of SHIN LINE GROUP on November 3 at a hotel in Seoul to discuss the hospital construction plans.Director Kim stated, “Since 2018, I have been visiting Kazakhstan annually for medical volunteer work and exchanges with the national medical university. Chung-Ang University Health Care System Hyundae Hospital in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, plans to build a 200-bed general hospital in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
