3 thousands of babies who are suffering from congenital heart diseases are born every year in Cambodia. Only 100 of 3000 newly born babies have heart surgery performed. More sadly, not every baby could arrive in Korea because it normally took 2 months to have visa issues. 2 months were never short periods for sick young babies who urgently needed cardio surgeons. Furthermore, Korean medical staffs plan to train Cambodian staffs in highly advanced cardio surgeries and cultivate Cambodian medical staffs’ capacity as well as independency.
