Professor Joo Hyun Nam of Asan Medical Center Appointed as Officer of the Asia & Oceania Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology The Asan Medical Center (AMC) announced on June 15 that Professor Joo Hyun Nam at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was appointed as the Officer of the Asia & Oceania Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology (AOFOG) at the 24th Asian & Oceanic Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology held in Kuching, Malaysia. His term will last for two years. Dr. Nam is currently a professor at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Ulsan University Hospital and the president of the Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ASGO). He has also served as the vice-officer for AOFOG, the president of the Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE), and as the chairman of the board for the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
