*Be smoke-free and limit alcohol*
Smokers are twice as likely to have cardiovascular & cerebrovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction and stroke, compared with non-smoker. Drinking too much alcohol can cause arrhythmia and cardiomyopathy and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Drink less than two cups a day (soju).
* Eat healthy food*
Cut down on salt and eat fish, vegetables and fruit. Blue fish is a source of moega-3 fats, which have the effect of preventing cerebrovascular disease by lowering blood triglyceride levels and preventing thrombogenesis. Vegetables contain various antioxidants such as vitamins, minerals, and fibrin, which can control cholesterol in the blood.
* Maintain a healthy weight and waist circumference *
Obesity can increase the risk of cardiovascular & cerebrovascular diseases. Regular tests of blood pressure, blood glucose(blood sugar), and lipid should be conducted and administered. hyperlipidemia, Hypertension(high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia, and diabetes are known to be important causes of cerebrovascular disease. Regular exercise is important to improve cardiovascular function and prevent disease.
